6 Interesting Coffee In TTDI

Flat white not enough? Here are 6 interesting coffees in TTDI and the cafes where you can find them

A good cuppa can really make your day feel like it’s turned around…

The art of caffeine has come a long way from when it was simply a plain, bland elixir used by the everyday working man for a jolt of energy. Today, coffee is a lifestyle and a movement. It can be defined through flavour, colour, shape and size and has changed to match the preferences of a newer generation.

We have younger crowds who love their coffees crafted, customised and creatively inspired and, on top of this, they love to enjoy their daily dosage of caffeine in the cosy and intricately designed confines of upmarket cafes.

To match demand, businesses have popped up all across KL and you can find a range of establishments focused on a fantastic assortment of coffee choices, all clustered within the humble township of TTDI.

If enjoying a freshly brewed mug of a lovely caffeinated beverage in an atmosphere that matches the taste is your idea of a good time, here are some cafes in TTDI where you can find just that!

It’s a tranquil neighbourhood, offering a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the busy city centres while, at the same time, catering to droves of hungry (and thirsty) urbanites. 43 Coffee is a popular haunt here and, with a reputation for being an exquisite and charming setting that serves up a mean cup of freshly brewed coffee, it’s probably the calmest coffee shop in the area, featuring a cosy and spacious interior that’s rarely ever packed (even during peak hours).

Look forward to a tranquil ambience where you can focus on working, studying or reading as you sip on your favourite beverage and where chocolate enthusiasts can enjoy four different blends of hot chocolate made from the quality Indonesian brand; Korte, with each flavour being uniquely satisfying.

Aether serves another option you might not have heard of – Doi Chaang coffee (cultivated on Thai mountains). Dotty’s spots a French-themed interior which you might find has an authentic Parisian vibe but. There’s also the incredible menu selection, featuring Salted Egg Yolk Cronuts which are freshly made. A signature beverage/dessert that you should try here is the doughnut latte. Its name is pretty self-explanatory but what is it actually? A hot doughnut is topped with ice cream while latte is poured on top of it. You may barely even consider it coffee but if it’s creativity you’re looking for, you might want to consider giving it a shot!
